KWEKWE – Kwekwe based multitalented artist, entrepreneur and metallurgical technician Tafadzwa Benjamin Jeche (38) known is urging parents and guardians of People with Disabilities (PWDs) to nurture their children to become independent and not depend on handouts.
He is a successful and renowned gospel artist, actor, businessman, miner and a qualified Metallurgical technician.
“As long as a child is not mentally challenged he/ she is able to do anything and we should nurture them to be successful and not depend on handouts. Parents and guardians should support them.

“My grandmother nurtured me and I am what I am today because of her. She demanded that I be treated equally with able bodied children. She also refused to send me to a special school and I did household chores like any other child and even herded cattle,” he said.
Jeche has released several tracks and featured Chipo Muchegwa and the Late Terry G in a song titled Makorokoto.
He, however bemoaned lack of airplay for his music and said he is sharing and promoting his music on social media.
“I am relying on social media platforms so it is my wish that one day my music will be played our national television channels and radio stations so that the nation may have a feel of my talent,” he said.
