Mt Selinda High elects new SDC executive

CHIPINGE – Parents at the United Church of Christ in Zimbabwe-run Mount Selinda High in Chipinge have elected a new School Development Committee (SDC) chaired by Florence Maposa.
School head Phineas Mundeta confirmed the elections conducted on March 2, 2024 in an interview with Chipinge Times.
The other members are;
Mercy Sithole (Vice Chairperson)
Lisdom Nguweni (Secretary)
Taurai Godo (Treasurer)
Ashirai Mawere (Committee member)
Maposa appreciated parents for electing and showing trust in her leadership.
“I thank parents for electing me, I will work well with them for the good of our school and also towards the achievement of good passrates,” said Maposa. Parents toured projects undertaken by the previous SDC including a solar project to address power challenges.
