Former Marondamashanu head dies

CHIKOMBA—Marondamashanu Primary school long serving headmaster Moses Marawanyika has died. He was 71.
He succumbed to an asthmatic attack at his plot in Marondamashanu on Thursday last week.
His daughter Millicent Girlie Mhaka confirmed his death to The Mirror. She said the former was buried at his plot on Saturday.
Marawanyika served as the head at Marondamashanu from 1980 until 2016.
Mhaka described Marawanyika as a loving and caring father. She also said that he was hardworking and innovative.
“The family has suffered a great loss. My father has a gap too big to fill. He was a hardworking man and cooperative person who was innovative,” said Mhaka.
He is survived by his wife, five children, two boys and three girls and ten grandchildren.
