CUT graduate crowned Miss Milan

GWERU – A Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) graduate, Eva Mzondiwa (25) is the 2023 Miss Milan second edition queen. The pageant was held at Milan Restaurant in Gweru on Saturday.
She shrugged off competition from 20 other models drawn from across the country.
Mzondiwa received US$ 1,000 from the restaurant and a New Year’s Eve package from Bundu Travel and Tour, for the Blue Hills tour in Bulawayo and other activities.
Monalisa Kandava was crowned the first princess. She received US$500 from Milan Restaurant and a day trip to Farm House on Sunday courtesy of Bundu Travel and Tours.
Moreblessing Chinyandura was voted the second princess. She walked away with US$300 from the restaurant and a tour of Chinhoyi Caves on December 24, 2023, courtesy of Bundu Travel and Tours.
Paidamoyo Manyanga was voted Miss Personality and walked away with US$50 from Pabloz owner Tapiwa Matangaidze.
Mzondiwa told The Mirror she was happy to be honoured as a restaurant ambassador.
“I am happy to be crowned Miss Milan 2023. I would like to thank Miss Milan organizer Faith Mazana for providing us with the opportunity to showcase our talents and capabilities as models.
“I wish to continue working well with the organization and maintain good relations as its brand ambassador,” she said.
Milan Restaurant Chief Coordinator Faith Mazana applauded the sponsors for making the pageant successful.
“I want to thank the ladies for participating in Miss Milan Gweru 2023 Second Edition. We hope to see them again next year. It was a great and unique show. I also want to thank the sponsors for making this show a success,” she said.
