Mhona to grace Beitbridge business awards

BEITBRIDGE- Transport and Infrastructure Development Minister, Felix Tapiwa Mhona will this Saturday be the guest of honor at the annual Sundrive Coalition organised Beitbridge Business Summit and Awards ceremony that will be held at Purple Heart.

The fourth edition of the Beitbridge Business Summit and Awards ceremony will start at 2 pm.

 Sundrive Coalition director Innocent Chenjerai has confirmed the development to Two Nations and said preparations have gathered momentum. 

The event will be held under the theme; Market Place# Creating Opportunities.

Chenjerai told Two Nations that registration is still on going and they are encouraging institutions to register, secure exhibition space and sponsor the event. 

He added that individuals are also encouraged to register, participate and invite their colleagues to the end of year party where there will be celebrations for excelling individuals and institutions in various disciplines. 

Regular tickets are going for US$20 with food and refreshments whilst VIP tickets are going for US$50 with a favorable package.

“Practical theories will also be learnt during the occasion and this will make one a stable business personnel. We will also be sharing about future trends and how business people can adjust to prevailing hardships so that they continue progressing,” he said. 

Categories to be won during the awards ceremony include ; ground breaking award, innovation, growth and expansion, corporate social responsibility, special award and business excellence awards among others. 

Other speakers for  the occasion include former Warriors captain Willard Katsande, Zimbabwe Sugar Experiment Station executive director Dr Audrey Mabveni, Chief Executive  Officer for Farm Harvest, E Asima and Croc Foods CEO Mrs N Ngwenya.
