MASVINGO-Inmates at the Old People’s Home had an early Christmas cheer, thanks to youthful prominent Masvingo business mogul, Tasunungurwa Marisa who donated a state of the art 64-inch plasma TV and some goodies.

Marisa made the donations last Wednesday at a colourful ceremony where he was represented by philanthropist Regina Munyamani who sourced the TV and an assortment of goodies including facemasks from the youthful businessman.

“It is in my DNA to give back to the community especially my home area, blessed are those who give for they shall receive more. I have whatever I have because God blessed me so I feel motivated by sharing with others especially the elderly,” said Marisa from his base in South Africa.

Munyamani said the early Christmas to the Old People’s Home from Marisa was a welcome development which should be emulated by others of means.

“When I approached him to give assistance to the home he did not think twice as the quickly wired the money to buy the goodies, a decoder and a plasma TV to provide entertainment to the elderly who are housed here,” said Munyamani

One of the inmates said they will be able to watch the official installation of Joe Biden, the USA President elect on January 20, 2021.
