ZVISHAVANE – Sylivia Choruwa of Isheunopa Group of Companies has won the Megafest National Businesswoman of the Year Award.

This is her fourth Megafest accolade since 2020.

She received the award at a function held at the Rainbow Towers on Thursday last week.

Judges noted that Choruwa started her business journey from humble beginnings and she is now a proud owner of furniture and hardware shops and boutiques in Zvishavane and Mberengwa.

The icing on the cake is that she now owns Isheanopa Shopping Mall at Mberengwa Growth Point.

Her success was described as an inspiration to communities around her. The judges also considered her philanthropic work.

Choruwa said she was humbled by the award and she thanked her staff for making the company’s achievements possible.

“Isheanopa as a name is self-explanatory. I am a Christian woman and all my successes are from God,” she said Choruwa advised business people to focus on areas that they know off if they are to succeed in business. She said discipline is also an important ingredient for success.https://masvingomirror.com
