ZNA holding routine training in Midlands

SHURUGWI – The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) is conducting routine training exercises in Zvishavane, Shurugwi and Chirumhanzu districts in the Midlands from November 4-19, 2023.
Five Infantry Brigade (Kwekwe) Public relations officer Andrew Chimedza confirmed the routine exercises in a press statement to The Mirror.
He said host communities should not be alarmed and the purpose of the exercise is to impart contemporary warfare knowledge to soldiers.
“The Zimbabwe National Army will be conducting a training exercise in the Midlands province to impart knowledge to its members on contemporary warfare. All stakeholders in the province particularly the Southern part will witness a high volume of military vehicles movement along Battlefields, Kwekwe, Gweru, Shurugwi, Chachacha, Zvishavane and Gweru- Chirumhanzu high way. The public should not panic since it is a routine military training that is going to be conducted from 4 November to 19 November 2023,” reads the press statement.
