Zim- Zambia Joint Project gives Chikomba villagers clean water

Chivhu – Zimbabwe-Zambia Joint Respond Project (ZZJR) has installed a solar powered borehole for villagers in Ward 17 Masasa in Chikomba that will not only afford them clean water but to do irrigation activities as well.
The borehole is complete with a 10 000l water tank.

The project has been implemented by Caritas Zimbabwe and ward 17 is the most populous in Chikomba District.
Caritas Zimbabwe District coordinator Saviriyo Saga told The Mirror that the ZZJR project also covers the repair of 5 boreholes and the casting of 2 wells in the same ward.

Saga said that the ZZJR project is also responsible for the feeding of 609 households in ward 24,26,30,18, 25 and 7, targeting the most vulnerable people, people living with disabilities, pregnant and lactating mothers. https://masvingomirror.com
