MASVINGO -The Parliament of Zimbabwe is expecting to host its seventh annual charity golf tournament at the ZRP Golf Club, Harare at the end of this month.
Parliament’s Public Relations Director, Farai Makubaza told The Mirror that the tournament is slated for September 27.
He added that proceeds will be donated to Mazowe Old People’s Home in Rushinga.
The tournament is sponsored by Old Mutual, ZIMPLATS, Rainbow Tours Group and Schweppes.
“As Part of Parliament of Zimbabwe Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) we will be hosting the annual charity golf tournament where we will raise money for charity purposes. We saw it fit to help out in any way we can so we came up with this tournament.
“The tournament also comes along with socializing, unification and networking so people get to know each other and raise funds simultaneously. We therefore hope that all goes well and a lot of people participate,” he said
Registration fee is US$50 per individual and US$200 for Fourball or the ZWG equivalent.
