Shurugwi – A Zimbabwean driver who claims to be owed R100 000 in unpaid wages impounded his South African employers truck and parked it in his home area in Shurugwi where he vowed to keep it until his dues were met.
Benson Njobo (50) of Makanya village chief Banga is employed by Precision Freich and says he has not been paid for five months.

Efforts by The Mirror to get a comment from Njobo were futile. On September 10, 2020 Njobo was driving to Zambia passing by his rural home in Shurugwi and he parked the truck which was carrying boards to Zambia at Donga Police Station.

He then demanded that the employer brings his money before he releases keys for the truck.
However court ordered that Njobo surrenders the keys at Donga police station where the truck was parked. https://masvingomirror.com
