HARARE-Attendance at the on-going Zimbabwe Agricultural Show continue to rise steeply with attendance doubling yesterday (Friday) to 18 000 from the 8 073 recorded on Thursday.
This was confirmed by ZAS spokesperson Tawonga Miriyoni.
“ On Thursday we registered a total of 4031 adults and 4042 children. Of course we had few incidents where children got lost but we managed to locate their parents. I’m glad to announce that the show has gone for five days without any crimes being committed. I’m also happy with the numbers yesterday. People came in their numbers and it is a good thing,” he said.
The six-day-show which was officially opened yesterday by Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi is expected to end today at the Exhibition Park.
