SHURUGWI-Zanu PF Shurugwi North constituency parliamentary candidate has visited the ill at Shurugwi District Hospital to pray for them and hear their concerns.
Joseph Mupasi visited the hospital on Friday. Twelve Shurugwi Urban councillors and the women quota representative Jessica Mazivazvose accompanied him.
The delegation prayed for all patients admitted to the hospital.
Mupasi, a Seventh-day Adventist member, told The Mirror that people admitted to hospitals should not be left out.
He said he also wanted to take note of some of the problems patients and hospital staff face.
“Yes, I visited Shurugwi District Hospital on Friday. My purpose was to pray for the sick. We later held a meeting with the District Medical Officer (DMO),” he said.
