MASVINGO -A teacher at Chiredzi Primary School in Zaka died last week after his motorcycle plunged into a bridge. The accident occurred at a ten-kilometre peg along Jerera-Svuure road in Zaka.
Masvingo Police Spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the matter to The Mirror.
Circumstances are that on July 18, 2023, at around 10:30 pm, Godwell Maposa (51) was riding his motorcycle, and upon reaching a ten-kilometre peg, he lost control.
The motorcycle plunged into the bridge, and Maposa fell onto the rocky riverbed. He died on the spot after he sustained head injuries.
Maposa’s lifeless body was discovered in the morning by students going to school. The Police took the body to Musiso Hospital for postmortem.
