BUHERA – World Vision has donated building materials worth US$1 200 to Buhera District Covid-19 Task Force to finance renovation of a building that will be used as an isolation centre.
The building is at Murambinda Mission Hospital. The materials were handed over to the taskforce team on Tuesday by World Vision (Buhera) program manager Noah Nyowani. “We raised US$1 200 towards this project in response to your plea for assistance.
It is part of our social responsibility to assist in times of need particularly when there is a pandemic like this,” said Nyowani. Dr Madziwa thanked World Vision on behalf of the District Medical Officer Dr Shelton Kwiri. He said that the isolation centre will ensure that there is no direct interaction between people suspected of Covid-19 and health staff. “We appreciate World Vision for its support for the creation of an isolation centre at Murambinda Mission Hospital,” said Dr Madziwa.
Donated materials included cement, door frames, window frames, paint and locksets.https://masvingomirror.com
