MASVINGO -Former Eastern Region Soccer League administrator Tedious Machawire has died.

Machawire who has served as a football administrator for the Eastern Region for 20 years passed away this morning in Harare where he was seeking treatment. Machawire retired in 2020.
He was 69.
ERSL vice chairman Wisdom Simba confirmed the sad development to Mirror Sport adding that it’s a loss to the region.
“As ERSL we have learnt with great sadness about the passing on of our former regional administrator.
“Our heartfelt condolences go to the Machawire family, the football fraternity at large.He served the association with great distinction for two decades. He was our mentor, father and we have lost an advisor,” said Simba.
