CHIPINGE – The Urban Councils Association of Zimbabwe (UCAZ) has raised concern over sewer which they said is found flowing too close to Chipinge Town Council solar driven boreholes.
UCAZ Technical Services subcommittee chairperson Clayton Masiyatsva told Chipinge Times after a tour of delegates of the subcommittee on Friday last week, concerns were also raised that the boreholes are located in wetlands.
The subcommittee also condemned a road in Gaza that is already damaged some months after it was repaired. On a positive note, the committee however, said residents of Chipinge were enjoying
clean, safe water from council.
Chipinge Town Council chair vehemently disputed assertions that there was sewage near the boreholes. https://masvingomirror.com
