CHIREDZI – Triangle Football Club goal keeper Ronald Mudimu (33) is no more.
Mudimu died at 8pm yesterday while he was being taken to Chitungwiza Hospital in Harare.
The team’s head coach Taurai Mangwiro confirmed the death in an interview with The Mirror.
He was on the team’s longest serving players after joining in 2013.
“I can confirm that we have lost one of the most talented, focused and dedicated players at Triangle FC. He was the longest serving player.” said Mangwiro.
Mudimu has been off the pitch for the past three months after he suffered a stroke.
