Trukumb Mine FC general manager Juma Phiri told The Mirror in an interview that they are engaged in talks with Sweswe and the prospects of signing him are high. “We have been engaged in talks with Sweswe and we believe he will join us. He indicated that he has a few issues to sort out but rest assured that he will append his signature with us,” said Phiri.
Efforts to get a comment from Sweswe were futile.
The Mirror is reliably informed that Sweswe is opting for a club that is closer to Bulawayo where his family is located.
Sweswe’s future has been left to speculation in recent weeks after the latter fell out of favor with new coach, Pieter De Jongh.
FC Platinum last week announced that they had reached a mutual agreement with the former Tsholotsho gaffer to leave the three time Zimbabwe champions.
Sweswe was in charge of FC Platinum for 11 games with six wins, four draws and one loss. https://masvingomirror.com
