The Lowveld outfit Triangle Football Club (FC) was edged one nil by Herentals FC at the weekend as Jairos Tapera’s charges struggled during a Castle Larger Premier Soccer League played at National Sports Stadium on Saturday. This has left Tapera in a quandary as his team which is blowing hot and cold is set to play an in-form Caps United in their next encounter.
The Lowveld based outfit is now on the fourth position on the log standing after amassing 20 points. Although the Sugar sugar boys are now regarded as giant slayers after beating Dynamos FC and drawing nil all with Highlanders at Gibbo Stadium; the Caps United encounter on Sunday remains an uphill task for Tapera as his team needs to pick up the loose pieces and put up a fight against Makepekepe to remain title contenders as the soccer season is nearing its peak.
“The game was fair, we played very well although we failed to get a score, it’s only that the rivals used their tactics which made them the winners of the day. We are now preparing for our next encounter with Caps United. This is going to be a tough match, we need to prepare much for the match,” said Tapera.
The students (Herentals) were very happy with the game and quickly wrote congratulatory message on their Twitter handle. “Well done Vabvamburi, we beat Triangle.https://masvingomirror.com
