MASVINGO-The much-famed Southern Tours Golf Tournament is on from Friday to Saturday at Masvingo Sports Club after a two-year sabbatical owing to COVID-19.
Tournament convener Tendai Gwatiringa, confirmed the event to The Mirror. He said they are expecting 60 amateur golfers from across the country to participate.
The Sports for all trust organized tournament is sponsored by OK Zimbabwe and the proceeds will be donated to charities in and around Masvingo.
“The Southern Tours Golf Tournament is on this Friday and Saturday. The grand finale is set for Saturday. We are expecting participants from as far as Harare. The last tournament was held in 2019,” said Gwatiringa.

Masvingo Golf Club manager, Cephas Ngwenya said they are fully prepared to host the event.
“The Southern Tours Tournament is the biggest event on our calendar and we are ready to host it,” said Ngwenya.https://masvingomirror.com
