MASVINGO – A South African woman driving a Toyota Corolla was involved in head-on collision with a Toyota Funcargo on Wednesday last week that saw two passengers being killed.

Both deceased were in the Funcargo and they are the driver Edmore Magombedze (46) and one of his passengers Ellen Masuku (46). They were six passengers in the Fun Cargo and the accident happened near Roy along Mutare – Masvingo Highway.

Masvingo Provincial Police Spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the accident to The Mirror.

The accident happened at around 9pm when Edmore Magombedze was towards Nyika and it is suspected that encroached into the lane of an oncoming vehicle and clashed head-on with Rc Netshituni (46) of Kempton Park, Johannesburg South Africa. All passengers in both vehicles sustained injuries.
