The court hearing against prominent Gweru land developer, Smelly Dube will take place at her hospital bedside at Claybank Hospital in Gweru this afternoon, impeccable sources have told The Mirror.

Dube collapsed two days ago after Police moved in to arrest her on allegations of selling State land.

Dube’s lawyers are insisting that their client is too unwell to stand trial. This is not the first time that Dube has failed to attend hearings because of illnesses.

In 2019, she failed to attend several Land Commission hearings in Gweru and Harare with her lawyers claiming that she was unwell. The Commission changed dates to accommodate her but without success.
