BEITBRIDGE – South Africa-based Zim gospel songbird Rhoda January has released another track titled Mufudzi Akanaka. The track was released in August and is making waves.
January who hails from Kwekwe told Two Nations that the song draws inspiration from Psalm 23 and reflects on the goodness of the Lord.
Mufudzi Akanaka was produced by Samuel Koroni at ESMAQ Studios in Pretoria, SA.
“Mufudzi Akanaka is about the awesomeness and greatness of the dependable God. God is a place of safety in the midst of chaos and challenges.
“God has no limitations and his power and ability are unmatched. He is our maker and sustainer, the giver of all. With God nothing is impossible,” she said.
Rhoda made waves in 2019 when she released another single titled Ndovimba Nemi which received international acclaim.
She also said that she is currently working on the music video which will be released soon. Rhoda also urged upcoming gospel artists to keep the faith.
“Do not quit singing for the Lord. You may be the next big thing in gospel music. The world is yours. Remain resolute and give it your all,” she added.
