Rujeko Secondary opens doors to its pioneers students

Rujeko, the first secondary school to be run by Masvingo City Council opened for the first time in Rujeko Suburb yesterday when it took its pioneer students. Some 200 students were recruited for Form 1 and Ndarama High head, Oddy Matongo is the head in charge. Vaida Chuma is the teacher-in-charge. Rujeko as a suburb did not have a secondary school thereby pushing students to neigbouring suburbs where they risked accidents by crossing busy roads and incurred transport costs.
Construction work at the school is in progress with a few blocks now completed, who is overseeing the new school’s operations. According to the school head, the school has enrolled over 200 pupils on the first day.https://masvingomirror.com
