Rujeko artist releases debut dancehall album


MASVINGO- A Midlands State University (MSU) development studies graduate has released a 10-track dancehall album titled Rags to riches.

Island George Chimwayange (26) aka De Niero De Scario who comes from Rujeko C in Masvingo released the album in February.

Chimwayange told The Mirror that the album was produced by Norman Kwairahunga Aka Mighty villain of Tik Tak studios in Rujeko.

The album has tracks rags to riches, hazvipere mushe, shining star, top shatter and nuh care about me among others.

“I released my debut album on February 24, 2021. I dedicate this album to all ghetto youths who are struggling whilst remembering every youth who died in the struggle,” said Chimwayange.

The album was sponsored Tinashe Mutarisi and Philip Chiradze aka Boss Fidza.

Chimwayange began music at a tender age and has shared the stage with Winky D.

“I am passionate about music. I began singing at a tender age with support from family and friends. I have released several singles and hope to continue churning out more hits,” said Chimwayange.
