Leading women’s clinic, Royal Women’s Clinic has opened a fully equipped state of the art operating theatre.
The theatre began offering services on November 1, 2020 and has a diatherm, anastatic machine, neonatal resuscitaire
machine and operating pentalux lights.

The clinic is in the CBD opposite the St Michaels Anglican Church cathedral. Clinic owner Dr. Wonderful Mutangiri told The Mirror that the clinic will now be able to do caesarean delivery, abdominal hysterectomy and vaginal hysterectomy which are surgical procedures to remove the uterus through an incision in the lower abdomen and vagina respectively, removal of cysts and treatment of early cervical cancer.

Mutangiri said the operating theatre has transformed the clinic into a fully-fledged women’s hospital. The clinic can accommodate 10 expecting women at once. “Our mission is to work with communities and partners to identify and develop appropriate and effective ways to reduce maternal and new born mortality and morbidity.

“We offer antenatal care, child deliveries, contraception services, cancer screening, treatment of fibroids, womb complains, early cervical cancers and other gynaecologic services,” said Dr. Mutangiri. https://masvingomirror.com
