Robbers strike at Ngundu, US$2 000 stolen

MWENEZI – A prominent businesswoman, Linia Masara lost US$2 000 and RTGS$80 000 to robbers who struck at Ngundu Business Centre last night.
Masara also lost a Samsing Galaxy cellphone to the gang that was armed pistols and iron bars.
Masvingo Police spokesperson, Kudakwashe Dhewa could not comment as he was said to be in a meeting at the time of going to Press.
A Police memo in the hands of Two Nations however, indicate that the robbers invaded Marufu’s homestead buy cutting a razor wire on a precast wall to gain entry into the yard.
They then broke a dining room window to enter the house.
