The robbers escaped with the businessman’s car and shop keys, 3 Samsusung cellphones and Z15 000.
Two Nations is reliably informed that Gudoshava was transferred from Ngundu Health Centre to Chiredzi District Hospital and is now at Masvingo Provincial.
The Police memo says five armed robbers invaded Gudoshava’s homestead by breaking into the Western side of his security wall using unknown objects.
They smashed two front dining windows and fired one shot at the main entrance door lock and broke into the house. They went into the bedroom where they assaulted Gudoshava and his wife Emeldah Chapungu with logs demanding cash.
They took away RTGS15 000 which was in a drawer. They demanded cash is US$ and shot Gudoshava when he told them that he didn’t have any.
A neighbor Samson Mabhon’a heard the gunshot and saw five people fleeing from the scene when he went out to investigate.
