Police shuts down Chiredzi CBD

CHIREDZI – Police in Chiredzi is forcing businesses and retail shops to close and clear out of the CBD.

The Mirror noted that Police officers are forcing all retailers including SIMRAC and OK to close and clear out of the CBD despite these retailers being considered as providers of essential services.

Efforts to get a comment from Masvingo Police spokesperson, Chief Inspector Charity Mazula were futile.
The Police officers ordering the shops and businesses to close and clear the CBD are however, telling the people that the CBD is to be fumigated later today.

In Masvingo business and retailers in the CBD are operating as normal and Police is allowing anyone with an exemption letter into the CBD. https://masvingomirror.com
