Parents take children back home from Vic Primary on day one

MASVINGO – Parents took their children back home at Vic Junior in Masvingo this morning because of the incapacitation of teachers.

Parents just made a u-turn after finding an untenable situation at the school.

This is the first day that schools are opening after Covid19 lockdown which started in March this year.

The Mirror witnessed the development.

Parents who spoke to The Mirror said they had been told by school authorities that they can leave their children if they so wish but there were no teachers.

Efforts to get a comment for the Provincial Education Director, Zedius Chitiga were fruitless as his phone went on unanswered.

Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education spokesman, Taungana Ndoro said he is yet to get reports from provinces about the situation on the ground. https://masvingomirror.com
