“I am so elated with the release of my first book, “Entrepreneurial Success: Insights on Growing Business in a Fluid Economy. It took me 16 years to complete the book. I was inspired by Dr Trent. Do you know she was given US$1.5 million by Oprah Winfrey and she built a whole school and furnished it? She renovated more than 11 schools.
“My book is a special dedication to those fearless souls that dare to dream and defy the odds, launching startups in a fluid environment,” said Ndhlukula.
The guest of honour was Dr Tererai Trent the founder of Tererai Trent International (TTI) whose mission is to lead the development and growth of an improved education system supported by socially engaged business models.
Dr Trent who is a philanthropist lauded Ndhlukula for her effort to inspire young women through the book.
“I am so happy with Ndhlukula for not giving up during the trying times. Her resilience inspires a lot of young women in Business,” said Trent.
Others in attendance included poet Chirikure Chirikure, Jazz sensation Hope Masike, legendary music producer Clive ‘Mono’ Mukundu and media guru Trevor Ncube.
Ndhlukula converted one of her late father’s shops at Makudo in Gutu into a library which is currently servicing seven schools.
All the publishers present pledged books to Ndhlukula’s library.
