BRILLIANT MUKARO

MASVINGO – An Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EOGM) to discuss Ndarama High School budget for 2023 budget flopped on Saturday after only 28 parents showed.

The quorum for the meeting is 512.

The general meeting will now be held on Saturday 19, November 2022.

Parents who spoke to The Mirror on condition of anonymity said the apathy was because many parents wanted an audit of books of the previous School Development Association executive which was led by Ray Muzenda.

They also queried the fact that they are being made to sit for a new budget without being given the balance brought down or the books of the previous years.

There are also queries on a US$800 000 loan understood to have been borrowed from BANCABC in 2019 to build a laboratory whose repayment remains a burden to the parents.
