MASVINGO – The National Association of Secondary School Heads (NASH) Provincial Athletics competitions which were set for Thursday and Friday last week have been postponed to March 10, 2023 due to the anticipated Tropical Cyclone Freddy.

Masvingo District Head in charge, Kura Chizimba confirmed the development to The Mirror.

“The competitions have been postponed due to Tropical Cyclone Freddy and they will now take place on March 10, 2023. We are looking forward to a successful event,” said Chizimba.

He said that the Masvingo District athletes have commenced training at Victoria High School on Sunday.

The competitions were initially set for March 2 and 3, 2023 at Mwenezi Government High School before the cyclone.
