Muvsport shines at Korean Taekwondo tournament

CHIKOMBA – Chivhu based Taekwondo club Muvsport scooped bronze at the Korean Ambassadors Cup tournament held in Harare at Belvedere Technical Teacher’s College last Saturday.
Marondera Elite Club came first seconded by Epworth Taekwondo Club.
Over 200 students drawn from at least 13 clubs in Zimbabwe and Malawi participated in the tournament
Muvsport coach and founder Givemore Muvuti (43) confirmed the tournament to The Mirror. He said that he is pleased with the performance of his students.
“I am happy with the performance of my team. I am impressed with the level of game my athletes are showing and l pray for their continued focus in this sport,” said Muvuti.
Students who gold medals include Trevor Zhou, Clyde Musonda, Kourtney Mugari, Ekranchimiyo Cee Muvuti, Ranziweti J Muvuti, Leshiwenzi E Muvuti, and Eshilonzi Aee Muvuti.
Constance Nhlizio, Tinotenda Tsoka, Nekispiyu J Muvuti, Obaneshiya Muvuti, Ijiwenzi B Muvuti, and Tarirai Masunganye won silver medals while Comfort Dhikinya and Tavonga Muvuti won bronze medals in their respective categories.
