Mujaji appointed Disability Expo Brand Ambassador

ZVISHAVANE- Former Zimbabwean Paralympian Elliot Mujaji, has been appointed the brand Ambassador of The Africa Travel, Tourism and Disability Expo 2022 which is scheduled to take place in Lilongwe the Malawian capital of from December 1 to December 3, 2022. Mujaji was appointed alongside Chimwemwe Kamkwamba of Malawi.
His appointment was confirmed to The Mirror Sport by the Executive Director of Purple Signs Global, the organizers of the event.
“Preparations are well on course. A press conference to announce the Africa Travel, Tourism & Disability Expo was held by the Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare Minister Patricia A. Kaliati . The Expo and Awards program is part of Malawi’s official Disability Awareness Month activities this year running from November 3 to December 3,” he said.
The Africa Travel, Tourism & Disability Expo 2022 is an inugural three-day Expo on accessible travel and tourism in Africa for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) being held in celebration of International Day Of Persons With Disabilities (December 3, 2022). The theme for this year is ‘The Excellent Travel & Tourism Experience We Want – Better. Sooner. Now’.
The event is the brainchild of 2018 International Telecommunications Union Award & 2021 UNWTO scholarship award winning Purple Signs Global (Zimbabwe) in partnership with Mystical Safaris ( Malawi ) , About Africa Co. Urambona (Namibia ) & Primic Inc (Malawi) with full support from the Malawi Ministry of Gender , Community Development & Social Welfare spearheading Disability Awareness Month in Malawi.
