Mobile Equipment narrows gap in Mimosa Social League

ZVISHAVANE – Mobile Equipment narrowed the gap in the Mimosa Social league (MSL) after thumping log leaders Mine Machine 2-1 in a league game played at Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Zvishavane sports ground on Sunday.

Both teams now sit on 19 points and Mine Machine is leading by a goal difference. The log leaders have an 11 plus goal difference while Mobile Equipment has a plus 10 goal difference.

Goals by Tatenda Muchena and Lennox Tambula sealed Mobile Equipment’s 2-1 victory.

MSL is a social football league comprising of 18 departments at the platinum mining company. The league was formed with the thrust of encouraging wellness of employees. 

Geo Survey played out to a one all draw against Boltrec to maintain third position with 17 points and MHL climbed up to fourth on the log after thumping Plant 2-1. Loss Control slipped to fifth after drawing two all with ventilation. Loss Control is behind MHL on goal difference.

Estates sits at the bottom of the table without a win after nine fixtures. The team suffered a 3- 0 defeat to Assets on Sunday.
