CHIKOMBA— The 2024 Miss Chivhu beauty pageant is set for next Friday at Philjen Country Lodge.
Lodge Manager Carlven Kame told The Mirror that Chikomba West legislator and Minister of Information, Communication, Technology Postal and Courier (ICT) Tatenda Mavetera will be the guest of honor.
Twelve models selected from across the district will compete for the crown and other prizes.
“The contestants were selected based on height, weight age, and academic qualifications. We are holding this pageant to promote modeling and advertise our growing town in the transit town. We are trying to empower a girl child in our society so that we minimize drug and substance abuse cases, teenage pregnancies, and early child marriages,” said Kame
