Midlands Horticulture Expo slated for April

ZVISHAVANE – The Midlands town of Zvishavane will on April 7-8 2022 host a horticulture Expo expected to bring together 5 040 farmers.
The Show which is the first of its kind is being organized by Exclusive Business Development Company in collaboration with Agritex and Department of Irrigation, The Mirror has been told.
The Expo will be held at Gresham Primary School Sports Grounds and the Minister of State for Midlands, Senator Larry Mavima will be the guest of honour.
The event seeks to bridge the gap between horticulture and its value chains and encourage farmers to become innovative in order to unlock the full potential of the sector.
It will run under the theme; “Explore, Connect and Earn.”
Exclusive Business Development director, Wishes Nyandoro told The Mirror that the event will host over 5 000 farmers from throughout the Midlands Province.
“The objective is to bring together horticulture farmers in the province as we try to unlock value from the sector. Some 5 000 farmers, 40 irrigation schemes and small holder farmers will attend,” he said.
Exclusive Business Development is a communication company in Zvishavane which does consultancy mainly to farmers and has previously held Midlands Harvest Festival in 2019 and Irrigation Awards in 2020.https://masvingomirror.com
