MBERENGWA-Mberengwa Soccer Academy (MBESA) FC will start Division 2 soccer trials on Christmas evening, club Director Neviel Zunde Manonose confirmed the development to The Mirror.

Manonose said they are inviting players aged 10 to 23 years for trials at Danga Mposi on December 24, 2022.

He went to say other trials will be conducted at Mataga Growth Point on December 31, 2022 and the last trials will be conducted at Masase on January 8, 2023 in preparation of the upcoming 2023 season.

“We had problems that resulted into squabbles that bedevilled the club for a greater part of the season, so we introduced membership cards and subscription is only US$ 3 per month. We should all participate in choosing the committee for the 2023 Season so that we can put our house in order. Fully paid up members will get free jerseys and can travel with the team on selected games,” said Manonose.

Manonose added that as a way of raising funds, the team is going to open up a few fall back-businesses to fundraise for the purchase of a team bus.
