MBERENGWA – Midlands Division 2 teams Mberengwa Soccer Accademy (Mbesa) FC and Wozoli FC fired blanks at their league game played at Dove Secondary School Ground in Mberengwa on Sunday
Mbesa founding director Neviel Zunde Manonose told the Mirror that his team was beaten by the same team 2:0 in the reverse fixture and they looked forward to beating Wozoli but failed.
“We played game 13 at Dove Secondary School Ground (Mberengwa) and drew 0-0. We lost 2:0 in the reverse fixture,” said Manonose.
The last two games saw us falling on the log standing from 3rd to 5th position with the log leaders Young Boys from Mvuma ahead of us with just 2 points.
“We are in the race full time but we need help in terms of sponsorship and donations to help the youth stay away from drugs as well as provide the much needed entertainment to our supporters,” said Manonose.
Mbesa fc couch Malvern Marondasi said the boys played well even though they did not score.
Wozoli coach Masaa Munorwei said the match was well played and his boys’ performance was good.
