Masvingo– Newly elected Zimbabwe Volleyball Association (ZVA) secretary general and veteran administrator Enias Kenneth Kondo optimistic that volleyball activities are set to increase in the Province.
Kondo who was elected over the weekend told The Mirror that his new post allows him to play an ex-officio role which will see him play an advisory role to the Dzimbabwe Volleyball Association (DVA). Kondo is the immediate past chairman of DVA.
“The province has new energetic leadership which is a huge opportunity for ZVA to help them grow their own brand in line with the ZVA vision. It is by virtue of holding the national secretary general post that I play advisory to Masvingo since I am from the same province,” said Kondo.
Kondo also said that Masvingo has immense talent which should be harnessed for the development of the sport and community.
Mxolisi Ndlovu was elected president, Region Moyo treasurer general, Farai Mboto and Sibangani Mashasha are the new committee members.
Kondo who served as chairman of DVA is credited with sourcing sponsorship for DVA.
