MASVINGO-A Budding gospel artist Memory Wuta (29) released her second six track album titled ‘God above all’ on Friday last week.
The album was launched at Chevron, a Regency Group Hotel.
God above all has tracks like Nyarara zvichanaka, Kushumira Mwari, Ndimi moga, Moyo unoregerera, Mira Nesimba featuring Mathias Mhere and the title track God Above All.
Veteran gospel musician Amos Mahendere graced the launch and performed some of his yesteryear hit songs. Other artists who performed at the launch are Brian Ngolomi popularly known as Asubwi the great and Simbarashe Ndungwa.
Wuta who is a professional cosmetologist and a nurse aide began her music journey in 2018 when she released two singles and a six track album featuring pastor Josh Kays.
“In life we all go through challenges and difficulties that we overcome one way or another. When I was singing and composing the songs my main mission was to reach out to everyone so that they may be revived and be stronger in faith,” said Wuta in an interview with The Mirror.
She said that she got inspiration to start recording from her brother Edmore who is also an artist.
