Masvingo lawyer Charamba’s wife dies

MASVINGO- The wife of Masvingo lawyer Derick Charamba and a teacher at Victoria High School Shingairai Charamba nee Mataruse has died.
She succumbed to a long battle with breast cancer this morning at 24 Hours Medical Centre in Zimre Park, Masvingo.
Derick confirmed her death to The Mirror. He said burial arrangements are yet to be advised.
“My wife is no more. She passed on today at 7.30 am at Masvingo 24 hour Medical Centre. She was admitted on Saturday. She battled cancer since 2010,” said Charamba.
Shingairai was born on December 6, 1976, in Tokonye Village in Morgenster, Masvingo rural.
She graduated with a Certificate of Education from the University of Zimbabwe in 2004. Shingairai also held a Masters in Education from the Great Zimbabwe University.
She taught at St Antony’s High School in Zaka after graduating in 2004 until 2008 when she transferred to Victoria High School.
Shingairai is survived by her husband Derick and three children. Their last born child is aged 12.
