Masvingo couple releases fourth gospel album

MASVINGO – Masvingo’s own gospel power couple apostles Nicholas and Rosemary Majaya popularly known in music circles as Pastor N and R Majaya are this Saturday releasing their fourth offering titled Kutapira kwe Shoko.

The couple who are apostles at United Pentecostal Ministries told The Mirror in an interview that the album will be launched on WhatsApp on Saturday evening and Facebook on Sunday evening.
“We are launching our eight track album on Saturday. The message is centralized on self-introspection and trusting the word of God to sail us through all situations. The bible has advice for all situations and we should learn to rely on the word,” said apostle Rosemary.

The album produced by Pee Zee at Studio 1 000 has tracks Kutapira Kwe Shoko, Mufaro Washe, Muri zvose, Ndamuwana, Mentor, Hupenyu hwangu, Rudo and Farira kunamata.

The couple enjoyed airplay during the Covid-19 lockdown with their track Tibatsirei receiving national recognition.

Pastor N and R Majaya have three other albums, the first one Hope for Zimbabwe released in 2002, Handingasari 2007 and Magrader 2017.

“We are in the process of releasing a video for one of the songs on the album. We are however, appealing for financial support and resources as cameras to shoot music videos. God is the lead writer and vocalist on this album,” said Apostle Majaya.
