MASVINGO – Masvingo Christian and Mwenezi High schools are representing the province at the Zimbabwe National Schools Debate and Public Speaking competitions that end today at Mtsbabezi High School in Matebeleland South.
The two emerged as the representatives after provincial debate competitions held at Masvingo Christian College two weeks ago.
Some schools at the national competitions are Gwanda High, Founders, Njelele, Inyati, Christian Mambo, St David’s Bonda, Vimbayi High, Kutama and Usher High.
The competitions will be held under the supervision of NASH.
Masvingo team is led by Lincoln Mlambo who is NASH Masvingo Provincial Head in Charge on Debate, Public Speaking and Drama.
The two schools are fielding both their junior and senior teams at the competitions.
Masvingo junior team comprises, Mitchel Vakira, Princess Shayanewako, Nokutenda Chipato and Rutendo Nguwo. The senior team participants are Merjury Mazorodze, Vivian Masutu, Ngonidzashe Masutu and Amon Hlupo.
