MASVINGO – The Masvingo Christian Academy development team is playing against the Bulawayo Select Academy in the Dumisani Ndlovu Foundation League at White City Stadium, Bulawayo tomorrow.
The academy’s head of development George Charumbira confirmed the match to The Mirror.
“The team is prepared for the competition. This is our time participating in the tournament following an invite from the Dumisani Ndlovu Foundation. The team is intact and we are prepared for this tourney.
“We are very optimistic that the guys will win the game. We selected our best players and the tourney is very important to us as a team. The winners will get some prizes,” he said.
The Academy is a football development club working with Masvingo Christian High School and several other school in talent identification and development. Two academy players were scouted to Spain last year.
Dumisani Ndlovu is based in the United Kingdom and he had a Foundation that helps development academies in Bulawayo.
