Marians High pupil to represent Zim in Taekwondo competitions

ZVISHAVANE – Marians High pupil Nathanael Brown will represent Zimbabwe at the Junior Taekwondo competitions to be held in Malawi in October 2022, Marians High director, Piri Mukono confirmed the story to The Mirror.
Brown is a Form 3 pupil who was chosen during a selection process held in Gweru recently. He is a member of the Iron Claw Taekwondo Club in Zvishavane.
His mother Placidia Brown said that she was excited with her son.
“As parents we are very excited that our son will put on the Zimbabwe jersey and represent his country. It’s an honour and we support him fully. Nathanael enjoyed martial arts from a tender age and he revered sports persons and film actors like Bruce Lee, Mohammed Ali and Israel Adesanya.
“He has chosen his road in Taekwondo and he wants to be the best. He wants to represent Zimbabwe in the Olympics and we are expecting him to win in Malawi this October.
“He will also be participating at a tournament to be held in Harare on the 18 April 2022″ she said.https://masvingomirror.com/
