KWEKWE – A man from Redcliff has appeared in court for assaulting his maid who had denied him sex.
Mandla Ndlovu (37) returned from work at around 4am on Heroes’ Day and asked for sex from his maid. She declined the advances and Ndlovu slapped her in the face and hit her head on the ground resulting in injuries.
Ndlovu pleaded guilty to the allegations of assault and told Kwekwe magistrate, Mildred Matuvi that the two are in love.
However, the court postponed the matter to Thursday to give the State an opportunity to relook into the charges as there could also be indecent assault involved and for the complainant to get a medical affidavits.
Ndlovu said he hired the maid to take care of his three children and the fight between the two broke out after the latter turned down his sexual advances.
The maid also told the court that her boss assaulted her after she denied him sex.
