Masvingo – An 18-year-old maid in Masvingo has been slapped with a five-year jail term after being convicted of sexually harassing a toddler whose organ she sucked for a month.

Blessing Mandava (18) started committing the crime against the toddler who is aged two-years and five months on December 16, 2021 until the matter surfaced on January 16, 2022, The Mirror can reveal.

The State is led by Liberty Hove and Magistrate Bishard Chineka presided over the case.

The State said that on December 16, 2021, Debra Mlambo who is the complainant’s mother employed Mandava as a house maid. Mlambo tasked Mandava to take care of the male toddler.

During the period of the commission of the crime the accused sucked the toddler’s organ whenever the mother was not there.

The matter come to light on January 16 when Mlambo was in the bedroom with her son and the toddler revealed to its mother what the maid was doing it. The toddler got onto the bed and started doing what the maid did to her.

Mlambo made a Police report and the accused was arrested. The magistrate suspended two years because of age and on condition that she doesn’t commit a similar offence for the next five years.https://masvingomirror.com
